They apply exclusively to private individuals aged 18 or over who have full legal capacity to enter into a contract with JEUJURA CEJ and who purchase products solely for personal use, unrelated to any commercial, industrial, craft or professional activity.
These Terms apply to orders for products delivered in mainland France (including Corsica and Monaco; the French overseas departments and regions and overseas collectivities (DROM-COM) are excluded) and to the following European countries: Germany, Austria, Belgium, Spain, Italy, Luxembourg, the Netherlands and Portugal.
Any order placed on the website implies that the customer has first read and fully accepted these General Terms and Conditions of Sale.

2. Products
JEUJURA CEJ presents the products offered for sale on its website together with detailed descriptions in “product sheets”, enabling customers to learn about the essential properties and characteristics of each product available for purchase through the website before placing and confirming an order.
Products offered for sale are described and presented as accurately as possible. Product photographs and graphics are intended to be as faithful as possible, but cannot guarantee a perfect match with the product purchased.
Jeujura CEJ reserves the right to modify products shown on the website without prior notice. It may make any changes to its products that it considers appropriate at any time, without being required to modify products already delivered or orders in progress.
3. Availability
Products are offered subject to availability of stock. Information about product availability is provided when the order is placed.
If a product becomes temporarily or permanently unavailable after an order has been placed, Jeujura CEJ undertakes to contact the customer as soon as possible to inform them that the product cannot be delivered within the period stated in the order confirmation, or that delivery is impossible.
If the order is cancelled by the customer or by Jeujura CEJ, the customer will be refunded if their account has been debited. The refund will be paid directly into the customer’s bank account no later than thirty days after payment of the sums paid by the customer.
Jeujura CEJ reserves the right to discontinue the manufacture of one or more products without prior notice. If a product becomes unavailable for any reason, JEUJURA CEJ will remove it from sale on its website as soon as possible. This action shall not give the customer any right to bring a claim, and Jeujura CEJ shall not incur liability as a result.
4. Sale prices
Product prices are stated in euros and include all taxes (VAT included). They do not include order processing and shipping costs, which will be charged in addition and specified to the customer when the order is finally confirmed.
JEUJURA CEJ may change product prices at any time without prior notice. However, products will be invoiced at the prices in force when the order is registered, subject to product availability.
All prices are subject to obvious typographical errors. If an obvious error occurs, Jeujura will contact the customer to notify them of the error made by its services and explain that the order will be invoiced at the corrected price. If the customer refuses the corrected terms, they may cancel the order without penalty.
5. Orders
Every order requires the customer’s acceptance of these General Terms and Conditions of Sale (GTCS).
The customer warrants that the information provided when placing the order is accurate, complete and up to date.
Products are ordered through the website. The customer must create a basket by selecting the product(s) they wish to purchase in accordance with the instructions on the website. The choice to purchase a product is the customer’s sole responsibility.
Before confirming the order, the customer may check its details, including prices, quantities ordered, and any costs and taxes applicable to the order. Before confirming the order, the customer is invited to read these GTCS in full and accept their contents.
When the customer confirms an order, they are deemed to have accepted these GTCS, the prices, the quantities ordered and the costs and taxes applicable to the order.
Any order that clearly does not correspond to a retail sale intended for mainland France and, more generally, any order that is abnormal, fraudulent or suspected of being so, may be treated as void by Jeujura CEJ. Where applicable, the customer will be notified using the contact details provided with the order.
6. Payment
All orders must be paid for in euros. By confirming an order on the website, the customer undertakes to pay the price shown in the order summary. Payment is made when the customer confirms the order.
Amounts paid to Jeujura CEJ shall under no circumstances be regarded as earnest money or deposits.
The customer may pay for an order using the following methods:
- Bank card: payment may be made using bank cards accepted in France.
- PayPal.
Once the customer has confirmed and paid for the order, a confirmation email will be sent to the email address provided. The order is deemed concluded (and the sales contract formed) when Jeujura CEJ makes this order confirmation available to the customer.
Payment security
The customer warrants to Jeujura CEJ that they have the necessary authorisations to use the payment method selected from those available when placing the order.
Jeujura CEJ reserves the right to refuse, suspend or cancel the processing and/or delivery of any order, regardless of its nature or stage of completion, in the event of non-payment or partial payment of any amount owed by the customer, a payment incident, or fraud or attempted fraud relating to use of the website or payment for an order.

Orders containing items that are too bulky (boards, desks, etc.) are delivered by appointment; the carrier contacts the customer directly to agree on a delivery date.
8. Transport, receipt of products and transfer of risk
JEUJURA CEJ bears the risks associated with transport until delivery of the order, meaning until the ordered products are physically handed over to the customer or to a third party designated by the customer when placing the order (other than a carrier engaged by Jeujura CEJ).
The customer is responsible for the products from the time they are received. It is therefore essential to check the condition of the parcel upon receipt.
The customer or recipient is asked to check the apparent condition of the parcel at delivery. If any apparent irregularity is observed at delivery in the presence of the delivery driver or at the collection point (damage, an item missing compared with the delivery note, a damaged or opened parcel, broken products, etc.), the customer or recipient must report the damage and refuse delivery, immediately recording the irregularity with the driver or at the collection point.
The customer or recipient must also check the contents of the parcel as soon as it is received. If an ordered product is missing, the customer has three (3) clear days in which to notify Jeujura CEJ.
The customer is asked to notify Jeujura CEJ’s Customer Service department of any reservations (damaged or opened parcel, missing or damaged product, etc.) within three (3) days of receipt of the order, excluding public holidays, and to provide as much supporting evidence as possible, including photographs. If no reservations are made within three (3) days, the delivery will be deemed compliant.
9. Right of withdrawal
In accordance with Article L.221-18 of the French Consumer Code, the customer may withdraw from the purchase of one or more products without giving a reason within fourteen (14) calendar days from receipt of the goods.
Notification of withdrawal by the customer
To exercise this right, the customer must notify JEUJURA CEJ of their decision before the 14-day period expires, by means of an unequivocal written statement sent by email to contact@jeujura.fr or by post to: JEUJURA CEJ – JEUJURA.fr Online Store – 6 rue des Tilleuls – 39300 SAINT-GERMAIN-EN-MONTAGNE, using the following withdrawal form:

Returning the product after sending the withdrawal notice
The product must then be returned to Jeujura CEJ no later than 14 days after the customer sends the withdrawal notice. The return is at the customer’s risk and expense, and the customer must pay all return shipping costs.
The customer must retain proof of return. The product should therefore be returned by registered post or by another method that provides a dated proof of dispatch and allows the return parcel to be tracked.
The product returned to Jeujura CEJ must:
- Be accompanied by the sales invoice so that the customer and relevant order can be identified.
- Be in its original packaging and in perfect resale condition (not damaged, broken or soiled), with all accessories originally supplied, in perfect working order, as well as all instructions, booklets and documentation.
- Not have been assembled or used, show no signs of use, and be in a condition that allows it to be resold.
- Be properly protected, together with its original packaging, against damage in transit (the return is at the customer’s risk).

If the customer withdraws within the applicable period (having notified Jeujura CEJ) but has not yet received the products, they may simply refuse delivery.
Refund
Upon receipt of the returned parcel, Jeujura will check that the returned product complies with these conditions and is in good condition. No refund will be made if the returned product has been assembled, visibly used or damaged by the customer.
The refund will be made using the same payment method as that used for the original transaction, unless the customer expressly agrees to another method and provided that this does not incur any cost for the customer. Unless a justified delay applies, the price of the returned product will be refunded within fourteen days after Jeujura CEJ receives the product.
10. Product conformity and after-sales service
If the products delivered differ from those ordered, or if parts are missing or an item is defective, the customer is invited to contact Jeujura CEJ’s after-sales service:

- The nature of the problem encountered.
11. Warranties
These General Terms and Conditions do not affect the statutory warranties available to the customer as a purchaser of consumer goods.
Statutory warranty of conformity
The customer benefits from the statutory warranty of conformity referred to in Articles L.217-4 et seq. of the French Consumer Code.
Article L.217-4 of the French Consumer Code:
“The seller shall deliver goods that conform to the contract and shall be liable for any lack of conformity existing at the time of delivery. The seller shall also be liable for any lack of conformity resulting from the packaging, assembly instructions or installation where installation was the seller’s responsibility under the contract or was carried out under the seller’s responsibility.”
Article L.217-5 of the French Consumer Code:
“Goods conform to the contract:
1. If they are fit for the purpose usually expected of similar goods and, where applicable:
- if they correspond to the description given by the seller and possess the qualities presented to the buyer in the form of a sample or model;
- if they possess the qualities that a buyer may legitimately expect in view of public statements made by the seller, the producer or its representative, particularly in advertising or labelling;
2. Or if they have the characteristics mutually agreed by the parties or are suitable for any special purpose sought by the buyer, made known to the seller and accepted by the seller.”
If a product does not conform within the meaning of the above articles, the customer may invoke the statutory warranty of conformity under the conditions set out below.
The customer has two (2) years from delivery of the product to bring a claim against Jeujura CEJ.
The customer may choose between repair (*) and replacement of the product, subject to the cost conditions set out in Article L.217-9 of the French Consumer Code. The customer is not required to prove the existence of the lack of conformity during the twenty-four (24) months following delivery, except for second-hand goods.
(*) Given the nature of its products, Jeujura CEJ does not normally provide repairs but does provide product replacement. If replacement with an identical product is impossible, the customer may return the product and Jeujura CEJ will refund the price paid.
Statutory warranty against hidden defects
The customer may also invoke the statutory warranty against hidden defects provided for in Articles 1641 et seq. of the French Civil Code.
Article 1641 of the French Civil Code:
“The seller is bound by a warranty for hidden defects in the item sold that render it unfit for the use for which it was intended, or that so diminish that use that the buyer would not have purchased it, or would have paid a lower price, had they known of them.”
The customer has two (2) years from discovery of the defect to invoke this warranty. The customer may choose to return the product and receive a refund of the price or keep the product and receive a partial refund.
Exclusion of warranty
Products must only be used for the purposes specified in the user instructions, instruction booklets or assembly instructions supplied by Jeujura CEJ. In the event of misuse, improper use, negligence, lack of maintenance, etc., no warranty shall be provided by Jeujura CEJ. Jeujura CEJ shall not be liable for damage or accidents that may occur as a result of purchasing its products.
12. Liability – Force majeure
Jeujura CEJ shall not be liable for failure to perform the contract in the event of force majeure or any event, whether foreseeable or not at the time of sale, that is reasonably beyond its control, whose effects it cannot prevent or avoid, and which temporarily or permanently prevents it from performing all or part of its contractual obligations despite the normal diligence that may reasonably be expected of it.
The same applies in the event of disruption or a total or partial strike, particularly affecting postal services, transport and/or communications; flooding; fire; malfunction of the internet network; or a pandemic recognised by the World Health Organization.
Jeujura CEJ shall also not be liable for events, inconvenience or damage inherent in the use of the website, service interruption or malfunction, external intrusion or the presence of computer viruses.
13. Intellectual property
JEUJURA CEJ remains the exclusive owner of all documents, information, texts, comments, data, illustrations, photographs, videos, trademarks, etc. relating to products sold on the website and to the website itself. It owns all intellectual and industrial property rights relating to the products sold and to the Jeujura.fr online store (trademarks, designs and models, patents, copyrights, image rights, etc.).
Any reproduction, representation or use, in whole or in part, is strictly prohibited and constitutes infringement that may give rise to civil and criminal liability for its author.
14. Retention of title
Jeujura CEJ retains full ownership of the products ordered until full payment of the total order price has been received, including principal amounts, ancillary charges, costs and taxes.
15. Amendments to the General Terms and Conditions of Sale
Jeujura CEJ reserves the right to amend these General Terms and Conditions of Sale at any time. However, only the version accepted by the customer when the relevant order is concluded shall apply to that order.
If one or more provisions of these General Terms and Conditions are found to be invalid, unlawful or unenforceable under any law or regulation, or for any other reason, the remaining provisions shall remain unaffected and in force.
